What is coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative space to explore what matters to you, question assumptions, and make choices that reflect your needs, values, and desires. I bring questions, tools, observations, and support. You bring your experience and the authority to decide what fits your life.
What if I have no idea what I want?
That’s okay. Knowing isn’t the prerequisite for this work. When you’ve spent years responding to what other people need, what systems require, and what needs to happen next, your own wants can become difficult to hear. Part of the work is creating enough space to notice them again.
What if I love medicine?
Reclaim Your Calling isn’t based on the assumption that medicine is something you need to leave. You may discover that you want a deeper relationship with medicine, a different one, a smaller or larger role for it, or no external change at all. We’re not trying to reach a predetermined conclusion.
Is this career coaching?
Career may certainly be part of what we explore, but I wouldn’t describe this as traditional career coaching. We’re working with the woman making the career decisions: her values, needs, wants, assumptions, identity, responsibility, possibilities and relationship with medicine.
Is this therapy?
No. Reclaim Your Calling is a coaching experience focused on reflection, self-leadership, possibility and choice. It isn’t psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
How much time does it require?
You’ll have six 50-minute private sessions over 12 weeks, along with short personalized modules and reflection between sessions. The work between sessions is designed to support your life, not become another obligation to perform perfectly.
What happens on the Clarity Call?
We’ll talk about where you are now, what you’re noticing, and what you’re hoping might become possible. It’s also an opportunity for both of us to determine whether Reclaim Your Calling is the right fit.
